L Word Gets Real
From reel life drama to real life drama L word has traveled very far. Confused! Friends, the hidden chapters of life of lesbians, bi-sexual and transgender individuals unleashed by L word drama series are going to be depicted in real.
The Real L Word: Los Angeles, a reality show based on L Word is going to enter the production cycle. This show will cover life and experiences of as many as six lesbians.
Ilene Chaiken creator of L Word, who is architect of this show as well, came up with following statement, “Even though we concluded our sixth season of The L Word on Showtime this past March, I believe we are not nearly finished telling our L Word stories. Showtime has yet again come forward to continue with us this mission to entertain and enlighten and bring more ‘L’ to the world.”
Earlier, a spin-off on L world was planned as well. Somehow, the idea failed to materialize into a reality. However, L word is a concept that will never cease to exist. Entertainment based upon same sex theme belongs to an entirely different league. This is quiet evident from the fact that nine episodes of Real L Word: Los Angeles, have been ordered in advance. If things turn out smoothly, this reality based show is set to hit the television screens in 2010.
