The Real L Word: Los Angeles, a reality show based on L Word is going to enter the production cycle. This show will cover life and experiences of as many as six lesbians.

Ilene Chaiken creator of L Word, who is architect of this show as well, came up with following statement, “Even though we concluded our sixth season of The L Word on Showtime this past March, I believe we are not nearly finished telling our L Word stories. Showtime has yet again come forward to continue with us this mission to entertain and enlighten and bring more ‘L’ to the world.”

Earlier, a spin-off on L world was planned as well. Somehow, the idea failed to materialize into a reality. However, L word is a concept that will never cease to exist. Entertainment based upon same sex theme belongs to an entirely different league. This is quiet evident from the fact that nine episodes of Real L Word: Los Angeles, have been ordered in advance. If things turn out smoothly, this reality based show is set to hit the television screens in 2010.

Shane maintains that she has slept with at least thousand people and is known for abusing hard drugs. She constantly cheats on her partners and abruptly snaps the relationship ties. As if her crawling into the bed of next available female was not enough, she comes up with the most zany theories and wacky reflection.

1. “I don’t know. It just seems that… sometimes love just doesn’t last the way you hope it will, but if you get through that pain, it just… it could last in ways that are more precious. Maybe. Possibly.”

2. “I don’t know. You know, I’ve been thinking about it. What’s more boring, right? You can make endless lists or you can bawl your head off and puke over the side of the boat. Or you get to go home and you get to sleep with the same person you’ve been in love with for 7 years.”

3. “Ahh, you see? That gives me hope, because I love knowing that two people who’ve been together for so long … can still make each other that happy.”

4.”I learned early on that if you want to avoid that big mess that sucks and f**** with your life… you just keep it simple.”

5.”Tonya. There’s something I need to say to you. This isn’t easy for me because you’ve worked really hard and done so much for my career.” Alice! It’s karmically wrong… and it’s gonna come back at you if you and Dana wind up together.”

6. “Look, there’s no bigger karmic blessing than doing something entirely selfless for another person.”

7. “Well, the new male is more spiritual than the old male. He sees his sperm as an extension of his inner being, whereas the old male shot into any female without thinking about what would happen. The new male totally cares what becomes of his seed.

The actress was last seen doing a guest appearance on the show and probably Jennifer played her part so convincingly that the producers decided to bring her on the show as a series regular. But to be really honest I was not at all surprised by the decision taken by the producers of Lie To Me, since she has already proven her conviction to her work in The L-Word. The stunning actress has actually reminded every other actor of what getting into the character is all about.

So we really need to appreciate her talent and hard work because of which it has been possible that after making guest appearances in just two episodes of a show she has been asked to join it as a regular cast member. And people who have not watched her perform on The L-word have just been given another opportunity to realize what makes this stunning wonderful stand out from the rest of her colleagues.

I also feel that being a part of The L-Word TV show has in itself been a challenge for the actress. I say this because, despite the huge claims and numerous laws that have made gay and lesbian relationships legal, we still look down upon people who share such relationships.

Holloman is one of the most prominent actors on The L Word. She started her journey with L word as Tina four years back and we find new shades in her character in every season. Although, her sexual preferences in her real life makes it easy for her to portray the character of bisexual person, but she has truly justified the role of a stay-at-home wife, cockled lover, doormat, a confused lesbian or reluctant bisexual, single mom, die-hard friend, entertainment mogul which is not an easy task. I am really fond of her daring and open-minded personality.

I read somewhere that she would love to play the role of Bette rather than Tina as she can identify with this character being more of that sort of person in real life. She actually gets confused between the two while she acts on screen. She defines herself as more connected with Bette at an emotional level, but her behavior is more comparable to that of Tina. My personal opinion about her this confusion is that she seems to be very loyal towards her work that’s why she moulds herself according to the demand of role.
