Eric Mabius is a very well known and handsome American actor. He took birth in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in the family of Elizabeth and Craig Mabius. His brother is also named Craig and they are of Irish, Austrian and Polish descent. He attended Amherst Regional High School where he was voted ‘The Most Dramatic Boy’ as a senior. Later, he attended Sarah Lawrence College, New York.
In January 2006, he married Ivy Sherman and the couple has two sons, Maxfield Elliot and Rylan Jaxson. He made his debut in acting in 1995 when he appeared in ‘Welcome to the Dollhouse’. In 1996, he was seen in ‘I Shot Andy Warhol’. Eric Mabius also played an activist called Matt Addison in the movie ‘Resident Evil’ and it’s his biggest film role.
His TV credits include ‘Chicago Hope’, ‘Millennium’, ‘Popular’, ‘The OC’ and ‘Eyes’. He was a regular member in the first season of ‘The L Word’ and also gave recurring appearances in the second and third seasons. He gave a guest appearance on ‘CSI: Miami’. In the very popular teen drama ‘Ugly Betty’, he appeared as the fashion magazine editor Daniel Meade. His appearance on the series made him one of the sexiest men alive announced by People Magazine. His other appearances are on a lifetime movie ‘A Christmas Movie’ and in the pro-Barack Obama music video.

Eric Mabius appeared as Tim Haspel on ‘The L Word’. He was married to his longtime love Jenny but broke up with her after she cheated him with a woman. Tim has a very pleasant personality and people like him because of his nice nature, good looks and kindness. He tries to forget what Jenny did to him but his anger returns when he comes to know that she is having an affair with a man. Finally, he leaves the town. Later, he returns with a new wife. But the love and care which he and Jenny had shared in the initial days, is never seen again
